A friend had a drink earlier in the week that had Firefly Peach Moonshine in it so we decided to visit the distillery. The grounds are unique & quaint (also a winery on the site) and the tasting room & shop are interesting. We were hoping they would show how they made the spirits. It's a cool place to visit.

My husband was very interested in visiting a distillery. After looking through the flyers and talking to the locals he had his heart set on Firefly. We rented a car and headed out. As soon as we walked in "the wrong door" we meet Tiffany. She was friendly and helped with the tasting. We laughed, joked and ate popcorn. Tiffany... More

Such a quaint, fun and uplifting place. And the libations are fantastic. Put it on your list of "must-dos" when in the Charleston area.

Over then years I have been to many distilleries where they explain and show you how they make their product but this was not the case. First off it is WAY out in the boonies. We were getting a little nervous (thought we heard banjo music) especially when you turn off the so called main road and start traveling down... More

We went to the Grape Stomping Festival, complete with food vendor trucks, live music, craft vendor kiosks, and, of course, tastings of their fabulous flavored vodkas, moonshine and dessert liquors. We left with 3 bottles of delicious flavored vodkas and moonshine, and looking forward to returning! Great little homey place to visit, workers very knowledgable about their products.

An afternoon or early evening at Firefly Distillery is well worth the short drive from Charleston. Located on what must be one of the most picturesque islands in the chain of islands south of Charleston, Wadmalaw Island, remains pristine in many ways! Our regular visits to the island always include a trip to Firefly. The wine and spirits tastings are... More

The firefly distillery and deep water vineyard is an amazing place to go for a nice day trip! It's far enough away to be secluded yet close enough to make it there and back on a tank of gas!! The wines are great, the scenery is amazing and the spirits are abundant!! Always live music and amazing food trucks!!! Worth... More

Everytime we are on Seabrook Island we make the trip to Firefly Distillery on Wadmalaw Island. It is easy to miss it and pass right by as the sign is not very noticeable from the road. You drive through the gate on a dirt road and first pass a small body of water with a sign that is a picture... More
