This is a really nice park and the Park rangers are very knowledgeable. There are 2 parts of the park the main area has a large pond on it that has every type of swan in the world. On the other side of the street which there is a bridge to cross, it is a swamp area with wooden walking... More

We love the well-kept grounds and the lovely gardens. The playground is fun for children of all ages and has a newly-restored real fire truck for kids to explore. This is the only place in the world with all species of swans in one place!

This is one of the most beautiful places in Sumter! You can go, walk the trails & encounter ducks & swans & many different, beautiful flowers. In the back there is also a park/playground for kids.

Very relaxing. I love the statue. There were many ducks and swans I also saw a turtle and one thing I hated was a snake yukk. Other than that it's a very beautiful place to take a walk. They have benches to sit on. You have to see it for yourself.

Absolutely loved it. Very beautiful! Only problem was the elevator wasn't working and my moms leg was sprained so she climbed the stairs anyway. But aside from that, we LOVED IT.

Rangers and staff work very hard to keep swan lake beautiful. Opened later in the afternoons during the summer which is a great way to enjoy the birds and outdoors while avoiding some of the heat

We were here on a very hot day, but there is plenty of shade from the trees a plenty of places to sit and admire the lakes, the swans, the turtles, birds and flowers. Well worth a visit and all for free. Shame about the loudmouth yobs who were spoiling the tranquillity for others.

This place is absolutely gorgeous. Perfect for anybody, family, friends, kids, etc. I went for a strol through the park and it was just gorgeous and so peaceful. They have so many beautiful things to see and the swans are just so fun to watch. Definitely visit this place whenever you're in Sumter.

This is the second time we have visited this garden. We love it. It really speaks to me. I would love to sit there all day and read a book. There are many species of swans and the lake is full of cypress trees. It is beautiful and serene. We have never been there when the iris are blooming so... More

Beautiful! Great walk, loved the talking trees and the butterfly garden. Missed the black-necked swan as they only have a couple and don't let them out on the lake as much as the others. You'll learn about birds, butterflies, swans and trees. And it is all free! Thank you Sumter!
