Loved the Cypress Wetlands. It is a nice walk with lots of wildlife to see. Gators were nicely sunning.

We saw 4 gators dozens of turtles and the trail was well kept! We saw all kinds of wildlife including baby and adult gators! Be aware of your surroundings we saw a small brown snake crossing the path. A very nice outdoor activity!

Visited on our way to Paris Island. wife had read about it in a travel brochure. Happened to be when a school group was there. Saw and alligator and several nesting egrets, Had a short walk around the trail.

Love coming here, even if it's just for a few minutes. If you go on a hot day, you will see a lot of turtles and birds. Have also seen a raccoon and baby alligators. Haven't seen the big alligator yet. Parking available on Paris...More

It's not far~ 2-3 miles away on Sands Beach. It's a nice bike ride and worthwhile. Hope this helps.
