We waited outside locked out by the tour guide.  We had asked to be let in because I am highly allergic to insect bites. The porch and yard were swarming with wasps amd mosquitos.  The tour guide said it would be just a few minutes....More

A very interesting tour given by a very knowledgeable tour guide. The house and it's construction was very interesting. This house represents an historic monument in South Carolinas history.

Toured this old southern plantation and had a wonderful visit. Our guide was very informative and would answer any questions we had. They have a lot of very interesting stories about the people and home on the walls for you to read at your leisure....More

Early December make reservations and go to the Christmas reenactments. They rotate over a four year cycle, from the late 18th century to the Civil War period. You do need reservations!
