Love the boardwalk and the whole surrounding park area. Has grills and picnic tables and a few shelters for groups. Absolutely LOVE the gift shop here and always make it a must stop when in Myrtle Beach.

/we walked all the trails and the beach. We also did a kayaking trip into the inlets and learned a lot about the vegetation and wildlife in the park. we had a ranger that led us and he was great.

Nice trails, plentiful parking and bathrooms, nice giftshop. It is less busy than MB proper and has a much more natural feel. Camping, a little nature place and nice little boardwalk.

This is the second year camping with our group of about 5 other families. We have had a great time both times we have camped. This will be our place to go from now on.

We took our dogs there for a walk. After only 15 minutes we realized that we and our 2 dogs were completely covered with sand spurs. We spent the next 30 minutes painfully removing these crappy things from our dogs paws and from our clothes....More

I would have no problems staying there during that time. As someone mentioned weather during these months can change very quickly. We've stayed with a camping group and love it. Kids can fish, they have a great kids area... More
