I'm a season pass owner and have been for almost 10 years. I have never had trouble finding a parking spot nor ample room on the beach. I can bring my dog during "doggie hours: which make for more fun.

A place to visit where not only do you get a clean beach, plenty of places to enjoy shade yet you can walk to the busier section of Myrtle also from here.

State park right on beach in city has good beach access, some nice natural, easy trails and an old fashioned popular wooden fishing pier. Fee for day use. Closes at 6PM in the winter.

The place to go to the beach, plenty of parking, rest rooms, changing rooms and pavilions for picnics or parties.

Lots going on at this coastal park, and everything well maintained and attractive. In fact, we found ALL of the SC state parks to be exceptional.

An incredible state park. 5 min walk to an amazing beach and ocean. All was perfect until Nov 1st...that's when horses were allowed on the beach. Now, lots of horses...lots of horse poop and unpleasant smells. We will always come before November!

Being the State Park in Myrtle Beach, the trick to getting in quickly is getting there early. That aside, parking is plentiful, scenery is calm and beautiful, and most importantly if you go at the right time there are very few crowds. The pier is...More

Camping here for two nights. Lots of dogs, very congested. Go to Huntington Beach State Park down the road for a better experience.

My apologies for getting to you late, but as you can see it was unseasonably warm during the first week in OCT. But we are now experiencing cooler weather. We usually stay in the mid to upper 70's in OCT. Yeah you can still... More
