The Boardwalk is a great way to see the beach. There are seats and benches so you can relax and enjoy the surf. There are several small restaurants and traditional novelty and apparel shops.

Shops, gifts, food, night clubs, etc. This is not like the boardwalk in Ocean City, MD or Atlantic City....it is much shorter. Still it has it's own character and plenty of places to explore. Restrooms are available at the Gay Dolphin gift store. I suppose...More

Great Boardwalk - looks like it is going to be expanded - hope it is. Great to be able to walk for people who can't walk in sand easily. Then the beach can be enjoyed by everyone.

Wonderfully clean boardwalk with lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Views of the beach, access to the pier and sky wheel. Not too crowded during October.

The boardwalk is a highlight of Myrtle Beach in the winter. With so much shut down throughout the town, the sunshine and cheerful atmosphere on the boardwalk is great.

Hi. Yes, it's open. It's a beautiful view of the ocean. It stretches 1.2 miles along the oceanfront and is great for a walk or jog at any time of the day!!
