Evening visits only show crowded and a uneasy feeling. It's not like 10 years, when every family came down!! I did not feel comfortable enough to let two fifteen year old, go shopping.... Daytime, no exciting lights, but at least you can tell what's behind...More

I was amazed by how wonderful this beach and the ocean are here. The sand is awesome and the water was so warm.

We preferred the "old time" Myrtle Beach Grand Strand to Boardwalk at the Beach (although that's really a fun place, too). Lots of shops, places to get some quick food, a real boardwalk along the beach, amusements and last, but not least, the Bowery for...More

This is a downtown tourism attraction. Walking only. The parking is sparse and is paid only. There are shops and fair like attractions all around. Souveniers by the thousands.

This place has a real beach feel. Very busy with lots of shops and dining venues. Just a neat place to walk and look and enjoy.

The strand, or boardwalk, has a lot of trendy shops with over priced items. Expect to pay a lot for rides and parking. Boardwalk on the Beach is a must do experience! Nicer items and much better food, and atmosphere.
