I hesitate to review this beach since one of the best things about it is that it's never crowded. One of the nicest beaches on the Grand Strand!

Nice day visit to kill a couple of hours. The self-guided tour of Atalaya mansion is interesting and just a cpl bucks to get inside.

We really enjoyed visiting this state park. We paid $5 per person to enter the park and then $2 per person to visit the mansion. The beach was pristine and the sand was so soft. The mansion was beautiful and very interesting.
