Visited Atalaya the Huntingtons winter residence while seeing nearby Brookgreen Gardens. Unusual structure designed to double as a sculpture studio. Closes at 4pm so plan ahead.

A nice family beach - extremely clean. Lotsa hiking trails. A great relaxing beach that goes for miles. Highly recommended for those who want to escape the hustle of the big public beaches.

Visited after spending a few hours at Brookgreen. The beaches go on forever. Nice areas for bird watching but we didn t see many. It is well worth viewing the house after having visited the Brookgreen gardens.
