First time I ever went to Brookgreen Gardens was back in the 1960's and is still just as impressive today. It has grown so much over the years and expanded collections, gardens, children's nature zoo and events. We especially love coming before Christmas when they are doing the "Night of 10000 Candles". You'll never see anything as incredible as this.... More

We have gone to Myrtle Beach every year for the last 10 years and this was our first time visiting Brookgreen Gardens. I can't believe it took us this long. It sits on an old plantation. You can take guided tours and learn some history along the way. We did the boat tour. We had a wonderful guide and learned... More

This is a location for anyone who admires art and nature's beauty artistically merged together. There is so much to see here that your admission ticket is good for 7 days. Relax and enjoy the beauty of this treasure.

A HUGE garden with lots of flowers and trees. A large pool with lily pads lots of animals to see including wild turkey, foxes and even an alligator!! Bring your bug spray if you go in the summer, mosquitoes will eat you alive in the water areas on the garden. There's a butterfly garden but be mindful they don't fly... More

Be overwhelmed by the work of mostly volunteers turn these beautiful gardens into a festival for the eyes at night! We've been several times, it never gets old. I always look forward to next year and a visit to Brookgreen Gardens!

OK. I'm a self-confessed botanical gardens nerd, so I have seen a lot of them. This place was HUGE. I was there a bit past the spring bloom, so there weren't as many flowers as I had expected. But there was so much more to see -- animals, historic areas, sculpture and just gorgeous grounds. A must visit in the... More

We've come to Myrtle beach for years but only now discovered this wonderful spot hidden away off of HWY 17 south of Murrell's Inlet. The admission is a little steep at $16 but it is good for seven days. I could see going back here at least two days to slowly enjoy everything. There is a picnic area too.

Such an awesome place to visit. Lots of beautiful grounds, waterworks and sculptures. They also have a butterfly house and shuttle tour. Even the gift shop is beautiful. Lots of shade on a hot day and very friendly staff.
