Brookgreen Gardens was so beautiful, lush and a great place to relax and take photos. The zoo area could use some updates but the employees were helpful and kind.

We came here in February and had a great time exploring gardens and the statuary. Well laid out and a good walk. We did not see everything before we tired out!

Well kept grounds and great statuary. Very clean. We were there just before the blossoms came out but you could see the variety of plants that were about to bloom. Very tasteful gardens.

It really depends on the area of the park you are walking. Some areas have quite a bit of shade, but others are more open. There are plenty of great areas to choose from whether you want shade or not.
