Nice very modern park. Good bathrooms anf several pavillions that can be reserved. There is no pond though... dam broke... the picture is of the sun blocked by moon shadow thru the trees.

Park grass was in pretty good condition but pretty long. The bathrooms were limited for the large number of patrons. There was lots of staff around but they have a very limited food and drink choices.

Very good experience, never visited before. It is family friendly and a peaceful setting. I would recommend trying it

we love it here but i have got a wiff of some odd smoke,think brave people due to police dept. is close,hard in the summer to get a spot but nice to walk miles off also in quarter miles

Gibson pond park has no pond now and doesn't seem to be getting one anytime soon. What a shame, it was really nice.

The park is close to downtown Lexington and is a great place to have a picnic or to eat a bag lunch.
