Who can pass up the chance to see a 500 year old oak tree. Just amazing that several of the branches touch/run along the ground. The trunk circumference is incredible. It's free to visit and only takes a few minutes to walk around it and...More

I hadn't visited the Angel Oak since I was very young. It was awesome to see that the Angel Oak is still a beautiful tree even after our hurricanes.

We were blown away by the beauty and massiveness of this tree. We have never seen anything like it! Off the beaten track, but so worth it. No cost to view this natural wonder. Very nice gift shop too.

Awe inspiring. Although propped up here and there, this extraordinary tree was a sight to behold. Walking around and under it made you feel truly humbled. Great stop on the way from Charleston to Savannah, easy to follow GPS directions.

It is a beautiful site! Very simple though..... a few signs to read about the history, details of the tree, and some picnic style tables, that would be great for lunch or a snack. Seeing the tree, and taking photos is... More
