Nice place to visit and spend the day at the beach which is one of the last wild beaches in Bulgaria. There is a dirt road about 5 km to get to the beach but being alone there is wort it.

the lake is very beautifull, the nature that is next to it is clean and preserved well, the drive to the lake is short from Vama Veche.Worth a stop if you are on your way to other places in Bulgaria.

Did not have enough time to walk around as it was getting dark. Lots of families with their fishing rods were seen walking from it Very peaceful

A huge volume of water that so I am told has great wildlife and rare birds however it is extremely difficult to actually get to enjoy the lake because there is no access. You can view from a restaurant/hotel and from The Island archeological site...More
