Shipyard Golf Club offers three nine hole courses, which can be played in three eighteen hole combinations. Each course has its own merits and difficulties, with 25 water hazards coming into play throughout the majority of the holes.Clipper Course: With plenty of sand and water hazards, the Clipper course may be the most difficult of the nines. This George W. Cobb design requires a good long game and a soft touch around the greens.Galleon Course: These original nine holes of Shipyard Golf Club meander through large oaks and tall pines. Accurate placement of approach shots into heavily guarded greens is necessary on the Galleon course.Brigantine Course:Alligators sun themselves along these scenic, water hazard filled nine holes of the Brigantine course. With slight dog-legs and well-placed bunkers, this course requires shot-making and a good short game.

Shipyard has Zoysia grass greens and they were excellent. Lots of doglegs, but reachable. Overall the course needed a bit more clean-up... it was a little ragged in a few places... but a good value and a fun course.

Living on the island with my wife (Author of Mile High On A Millionaire) and I play most of the courses on the island with friends. Shipyard recovered after the recent Mathew hurricane with flying colors! The fairways and greens are one to brag about compared to any island courses! Then you add the warm friendly staff and service with... More

This is a good mid range course. Their are several that are better and several that are not as good. Greens are good but fairways are mediocre. I have played other courses in HH that are better and less money.

My husband and I played a fun round of golf and had drinks and apps in their bar. The staff was warm and welcoming. Prices were reasonable for a resort. We met another couple and enjoyed socializing with them. The wildlife along the course was fun to watch too.

First off, very surly cart barn person, lazy and grumpy. The course is in poor condition, and not properly mowed. Don't understand some of the praises for this course. Only played nine holes instead of eighteen, sorry we even bothered with the nine. NEVER to return, too many other good golfing opportunities in the area.

We were guests at Shipyard so this was the first course we played during the week. The staff were very helpful and friendly in the pro shop and on the course. We played the Brigantine and Galleon courses. Both were beautiful and well maintained. Afterwards, we enjoyed a great meal in the Brickyard Pub. Server John was really nice to... More

Beautiful course, challenging but fair. Slow soft greens but beautiful, great condition and well groomed. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely return

Three 9 holes that they assign play for your 18... not sure how they figure out which 2 nines to play... our second visit here and still haven't played the same 9 hole course. We played CLIPPER & GALLLEON.. both fine. The staff is super friendly and we enjoyed playing here.

We are owners in Shipyard so when we are down we play shipyard. The last two times the staff have been subpar in the golf shop. On 8/28/16 the worker was clueless. When I asked him about an owners discount he looked as if I was an alien. The service person at the bar was okay just seemed she wanted... More

Well manicured and playable golf course. Reasonable distance. Layout will challenge but not demoralize the average golfer. Very reasonable price as well. Would go back!
