Road bikes all around the resort including a ride through the nature preserve. Path were paved, but you felt like you were still close to nature. Saw a good size gator in there!

We'd have enjoyed it more if we weren't getting eaten alive-hence my title. We had fun swing alligators, frogs, and lizards.

Beautiful boat ride, incredibly peaceful - you feel like there must be nothing left in the area it is so quiet. Learned much about the plants and animals of the area - and yes we saw an alligator up close and personal.

Sea Pines Forest Preserve is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. The foliage was interesting. I saw alligators. There are signs so you know what you are looking at or what might be seen.

Recommend the drive through portion if you're not an arboristic type. We drove through and the road was what we needed to see everything including lake Mary.

We biked to and around the preserve and through the rice dike trail. We walked the rice field and vanishing swamp boardwalks. All biking and hiking is simple and well marked once you get in the preserve. There are racks to leave your bikes once...More

You can drive into the preserve and park at the lakes. There is a boat, driven by a guide, that you can hop on to get a closeup view of the animals that live in and around the lakes. Or, you can walk or bike through the many... More
