For a small city and and institution (Bob Jones University) doesn't connote welcome to many northerners, the Museum and Gallery is quite extraordinary in the extent and quality of its collection. The art collection is almost exclusively center on displays and interpretation of the life of Christ. The lighting and display are excellent; staff and tour guides are knowledgeable, helpful,... Went on a Sunday afternoon and spent a few hours walking through the museum. Could have spend several more, but the group trip was leaving. Plan to stay and be in awe.

Very nice selection of art for all periods. Probably the best in the Greenville area. Beautiful grounds also!

This is a top notch gallery, second only to the Louvre and Vatican (I've been to both) in terms of the amount and quality of religious art. All the master painters are represented here and also some large furniture and sculpture pieces. It will be closed for renovations beginning in February 2017.

We were shocked at the quality and size of the collection of paintings, sculptures and furniture at this gallery. It is an incredible collection of world-renowned 15th century and later paintings and other works of art. The audio guide for $5 is a good investment. This is a must see. It took us 2 hours and we could have spent... More

The most valuable asset in Greenville (in my opinion), Grandchildren describe is as 'awesome!' It is reasonable entrance fee of $5 and discounted for children and seniors. Best deal in Greenville.

Had the pleasure of visiting the Museum with a friend and it was well worth the time! Hard to believe it was in my town and I did not know about it. When you get to the gate, simply tell the guard you are going to the Museum and he will direct you. There are some awesome displays of religious... More

Among the finest collection of Christian art in the Southeast. The original works by great masters are amazing, from the Reubens and Rembrandt to the woodcuts and pieces of churches transported from all across Europe. It is only $5 to visit and parking is free.

This is a must-see for everyone who visits the area - especially for your artistic friends and family. The art ranges from Gothic to Baroque, mostly, but a small area is available with ancient Egyptian and Roman artifacts. The frames and furniture are amazing and all of the work has been set in beautifully designed rooms.

The collection of art work at the BJU Museum and Gallery is breathtaking. To gather such a collection must have been one's passion over many years. The individual rooms are so tastefully appointed so that they cause the works of art to stand out. The "Shepherd Boy" was my absolute favorite. Be sure to allow yourself plenty of time as... More
