Cozy, opinionated "museum" full to the brim of old relics, photos, guns, cannonballs, and paintings of Gen. Lee and Gen. Lee and Gen. Lee as well. Inside someone's house. Medical exhibits were fascinating--complete with a half-sawed femur bone! However, the "gift shop" was a den...More

Although the web confirmed the museum would be open this last Saturday, it was closed.A real pity considering the good reviews I read before. I was really excited to visit the museum.

I came to Greenville with my family for the eclipse, but I would have made the trip just to see this fantastic museum. It's small, but jam-packed with Confederate memorabilia, exhibits and politically incorrect (i.e. truthful) literature and souvenirs. It is also free to see,...More

Though Southern-born and bred with a number of CSA vet ancestors I don't get weepy for the Lost Cause, but I could spend hours in this place. Don't expect flashy tech exhibits but rather a collection more reflecting what's important to Carolinians today, with heavy...More
