My husband and I drove through this historic Cemetery that dates back to 1812, when the first burial took place. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is the oldest cemetery in SC with many above ground graves.

This is the white cemetery for Greenville, the black families were forced to bury their dead across the creek in what is Richland Cemetery, where it is bounded by the recycling center, cellphone communications tower, and fire station. Springwood is quite pretty, with many mausoleums...More

Beautiful historic cemetary in Greenville and it's listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Find a parking spot and wander around this quiet place and enjoy reading the headstones for an hour or so.

If you like walking through old cemeteries you will like this one. It's well maintained and we saw many different types of grave markers. The first burial here was in 1812. The graves of unknown confederate soldiers are one of the first things we saw...More
