Excellent tour around historic Georgetown! We were fortunate enough to have the trolley and guide all to ourselves during the slow tourist season to our surprise! Learn all the details of historic residents in the town's past, the port, early and current commerce. Tour guides tested and certified. Time well spent!

Hour long tour around downtown Georgetown where the tour guide just rambles on about different stories about historical houses you drive by. Could be better if he didn't talk non stop the entire time and he told you more about rich history and not about "who" lived where.

This was a very fun tour. A smidge bumpy, if you have a bad back, not for you. One of the families on the tour had an elderly mother with a walker. They accommodated her, and used a stool for her to get in the cart, she did fine. Love architecture? This is a great tour. Love history? This is... More

Georgetown has so much history and our guide covered a 10th of it. He spent a lot of time trying to be charming and bond with the the customers. After the Rice Museum and the Georgetown County Historical Museum, it was a major disappointment. Go to the welcome center, get their free map of Georgetown, -and drive slowly or walk... More

This was my second tour with Cap'n Rod, and I have to say that the second time was even better than the first! Cap'n Rod is funny, entertaining, and educational. I love that he told us much about the history of the area. I also loved his personality. He got us to Shell Island ahead of all the other tours... More

I was looking for an activity to do with my elderly father that was more his speed and someone suggested Swamp Fox tours. They really hit the nail on the head because he couldn't have had a better time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and showed us many historic homes, buildings, and even trees in the area. (One tree... More

This was a wonderful tour of the beautiful Georgetown area and taught us about all of the important historical (and some fun ghost stories). The ride was comfortable and even though the day was sunny it was a bit cool. Our guide gave us lovely quilts to keep on our laps. It was lovely and I would definitely recommend it... More

My wife Ruth and I , traveled to Georgetown from our Sheraton Resort to spend a little time in Georgetown. Wow, What a suprise this 1+ hr historic tour on a tram turned out to be. One of the best concise, interesting, and intriguing ways to learn so much about the low country. Lloyd gave us a really entertaining, informative... More
