Awesome trip. Captain Rod was very entertaining and had a wealth of stories and historical facts that he shared with us on our way to the shell island.  Excellent!  A must do next time you are in the Myrtle Beach or Georgetown area.

It is rain or shine. The boat is covered and has side windows that roll down.

I don't think they do Sundays. if you go on Capt Rod low country tours you can get the schedule. It is a great trip greatly recommend.

He can stay on the boat with Captain Rod or if he wanted he could sit on the beach depending on how hot it is on your visit. But Captain Rod will let him stay on the boat and relax while everyone is gathering shells. Have... More
