Husband loved this course. He was able to take our son to ride along. Had a great time. Everyone was friendly. Met some nice people. Said the course had some tough holes and not so tough holes. He wants to play it again.

Springfield is one of the best and most challenging public golf courses in the Charlotte area. The well kept greens and tree lined fairways are well maintained and are enjoyable to play. Although challenging at times, it can be played by all skill levels. The...More

Very well maintained course. Beautiful surroundings as it winds it's way unobtrusively thru the neighborhood. Each hole is pretty much by its self and you do not see much of the adjoining fairways and greens. Not too hard and not too easy. Of course, the...More

This track is simply recovering from a very wet spring, much like most of the courses in the Charlotte area. The practice area and clubhouse are top notch, offering everything you need before your round. I played the tips at 7100 yards and 145 slope,...More

Top notch public course. Well maintained and managed. Course management is essential to playing well. Restaurant is nothing exceptional-mostly sandwiches, beer, and munchies.

Delightful game at Springfield. Not an easy course but even those with a higher handicap will enjoy. Small dining area with limited options. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Greens fees very reasonable. Would definitely come again if in the area

Although I belong to a different club, each time I have guests from out of town, we always play a round at Springfield. Each hole plays differently and has a character all it's own. Well groomed any time of year that I've played it. A...More

Outstanding facility. Large grass range and practice green large enough to host events comfortably. The course was very hilly - felt like a mountain course in places. Conditions were great in June. Great value, too...only $31 on a weekday for 55 and older. Also have...More

I have seen both corporate and benefit tournaments played at Springfield. I would call the golf shop for details.
