It was a good thing we decided to hit this place last because they do not open until 1pm. But it was interesting, its an old church and they have a carriage from one of the women that lived on the island and midwifed well...More

We rented a golf cart for four hours to tour the island. The map suggested that we start on the other side of the island near the lighthouse --- wrong! Any tour of the island should begin with this little museum run by the locals....More

This free, small museum has a friendly and informed staff and some interesting artifacts. It gives one a good overview history of Daufuskie Island.

The Museum hours are Tues - Sat 1 - 4pm - year round.
