It's a nice area to walk and see some of the statues. There are stars on the building marking where it was hit by canon bombs

This was a small but architecturally interesting State House. Nice to sit in the balconies of the SC senate and house and watch proceedings.

Bryan did a superb job of explaining the history of South Carolina as he introduced a fairly large tour group to the features of the SC Statehouse and the role it has played in the history of this beautiful state!
