Took the grandkids for a day in Columbia. Hit the zoo, had a picnic at the park, then headed to EdVenture. First visit. What a great place for kids! Spent hours there. Lots of hands on things for them to do! Kids were 3 and 7. They ran out of energy before we ran out of things to do. Was... More

Great concept, it has the bones for a great experience, but it needs serious updating, cleaning, and repair. The day we were there many exhibits were closed, broken and not working, and the rest needed a good cleaning and repair. The Upstate Children's Museum in Greenville is much better.

I became a member earlier this year because I am a Columbia, SC native and thought I would use the membership often but the first time I went I noticed the dark grim on attractions and toys and could tell that they must only spray Lysol at night but not actually clean the toys and attractions. You would think with... More

My 3yo daughter loves this place! All of the different areas are interactive and that keeps her busy! She loves visiting the little grocery store and putting stuff in her cart and then checking out. It is almost hard to fit the entire museum into one day! Also a great place to have a birthday party or something similar! Plenty... More

Took my 6 year old son and he LOVED it!! So much to see and do for the younger ones. I would say there is something for those 12 and under to enjoy. Plan at least a half day for this. Thank goodness they were closing or I would have never gotten him out!

This museum was great! We gave two children, 8 years and 11 months and they offered various festivities for each age group.

Aweomse place to take young children. Plenty of things to do for children, endless hours of fun and excitement for children under 12.

This is a wonderful museum for children. There are many areas all hands on. There is a library building area a firetruck shoping store outside water fun. The boy at entrance is a great climbing adventure,. my grandson loved the legos and the large machine that picked up balls and transfered them to another area. There were areas for the... More

I finally had the opportunity to visit EdVenture Children's Museum. With a 41/2 year old and a rainy afternoon on my hands, I accompanied my niece and her daughter. Having heard so much about it, I was excited to see what kinds of fun and educational exhibits they had created. My niece was enthralled with Ed himself, the larger than... More

Facility was old, dirty, and many exhibits were broken or missing parts. They need to do a renovation. For instance, there was a giant Operation game in the body section but it was missing body parts and didn't even work at the time. I did notice they were under construction so perhaps some things have improved since we went 2... More
