We traveled to the museum with our three-year-old daughter. It shows great potential in terms of the exhibits. However, many of the exhibits were broken and looked as though they had not been kept up over the years. Tellingly, there were only about 10 families...More

The facility is great, handicap accessible and well thought out. The kid activities were educational and made familiar to all ages of youngsters. We travel with two (9 and 12). Well worth the stay. Grandson loved. the canal and boats.

The State Museum, right across the street and same parking lot, is better suited for children over 10... in my opinion. The Zoo is also a great attraction.
