Played with a group of buddies for the first time. The staff was very friendly, the range could use more targets, but they had separate putting and chipping greens which I like. The course was in great shape and has multi-sets of tees for you to play as easy or as challenging as you want. The greens held a good... More

Quite a nice course! Kept in great shape. Good practice area, near #1 tee box. Tidy little pro shop and same for the grill at the turn. Back nine has several holes on the lake or with great view of the lake. Number 18 green is next to a wonderful restaurant, with nice indoor & outdoor seating. Green fees are... More

Great course for all shots. Half a links type course half with long ang shot holes. Tiger paw traps form Clemson signature hole. Elevation, rolling hills, water and traps along Lake Hartwell. Hot in summer so play early. Great accommodations at Inn. Produced a college national championship team. Worth a drive over to tee it up.

A buddy of mine, who lives in that area, got me to come play there and needless to say I'll choose the course next time. Only had a couple of holes worth playing. The rest were bland and unimaginitive.

Not the best place to play on a hot day even if its on the shores of Lake Hartwell. Front nine is in layout and back nine adds some length and shot making. The PAW hole is the signature hole and a great par 3 for Clemson fans. great accommodations. Excellent club like service. Played by a National Championship college... More

Our experience here was great. We were greeted by the friendly head professional who checked us in and made sure we were able to tee off quickly. They have a friendly starter named Rodger who spent time explaining the different holes to us. The layout is fun to play. It has widely separated holes and each one is a different... More

Excellent layout. Super-friendly staff. The Walker Course is always in excellent shape. They are installing new greens this summer, so the course is closed for a couple of months - I think they are set to re-open with the new greens in September.

We only played nine holes but it was along the Lake which was beautiful. Glad the starter sent everyone off the back nine.

its a pretty course but greens are at best average and the head pro has all the business he needs and it shows. On back 9 mid afternoon full maintenance crew covered every hole even getting in the way of shots on fairways and greens. The pro said basically "get over it". You can tell it's the only show in... You don't have to be a student to play here but it gets a little pricey if you aren't. Extremely well kept and definitely worth the money though. There are 5 tee boxes so plenty of options for everyone. The Orange tees (the tees go Orange, Purple, White since those are Clemson's colors) are the tips and they make for... More
