Was walking around campus and found this surprise. Luckily for us it was open and we were able to make a quick tour. We wished that we had more time - was very interesting.

Wonderful tour of the house where the 7th Vice President of the US, John Calhoun, lived. Family portraits and personal effects are displayed throughout the house.

This home of John C. Calhoun features a particularly knowledgeable interpreter, who gave us a lot of time and energy. Much of what is in the home belonged to the family going back to the 1700s. Wouldn't have missed it!
