The paths are real interesting here. The three parallel paths are near each other. Makes for great biking, strolling, and hiking for all ages. Plenty of people using the park. Most were young. All the park and its plants in particular needed plenty of water.

We never new large park (largest on the peninsula) existed in Charleston. Next to the Citadel Hampton Park has 60 acres of peaceful, trees, sunshine, fountains, birds, and trails for walking, running or rollerblading. A great way to spend 2-4 relaxing hours.

Beautifully maintained park with great walking paths. There is a playground, bike paths, a fountain and a bridge over a small pond. There are also many large, old trees that are lovely to picnic or read a book under.
