Beautiful place and you can see a ton of marine life off the rocks around. I’ll never forget this lighthouse because it is where my husband and I got married in 2015.

We took a boat our to Morris Island. It was well worth the visit. It was nice being out on the beach and seeing the lighthouse.

The path from the end of the street is mostly paved so it’s easy for most anyone to traverse. This stop pairs nicely with the pier an hour or two before sunset.

Although you cannot actually go to this lighthouse and climb it, it is well worth going to see it. Since we were staying in Folly Beach, it was a short car ride along Ashley Avenue to its end where the Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve begins....More

The lighthouse is beautiful once you reach it. To view the lighthouse you need to walk apx 1/4 mile on a trail to the beach and then climb to the top of the sandy ridge to view the lighthouse. Limited parking on the street, which...More

Remote island with great views. Dolphins nearby and birding opportunities. We recommend using Absolute Reel Screamer Charters for your trip to Morris Island Light House!

While visiting Folly Beach we stumble upon the walk to view the lighthouse. What a great walk and great view. It's amazing how many storms it has withstood!

I love riding out to Morris Island on the boat! We normally cook out and hang out with friends. The beach is great to walk on and take the pups and family! Pretty shells to find and seeing the light house up close is so...More

It was really too far out to get a good photo shot of the lighthouse. Highly recommend taking a boat tour that takes you up close.

We used Charleston Outdoor Adventures for our trip to Morris Island. You would need to ask a tour company whether or not animals are allowed on their boats and/or the island!
