Offering a variety of tours, our award-winning guides are sure to have the perfect experience for you. Charleston Pirate History: Blackbeard’s true past and why he blockaded our harbor, why Charlestonian Ann Bonny turned pirate and fell in love with Calico Jack, what happened to Gentleman Pirate Stede Bonnet after he was captured wearing a dress, Charleston’s evolution from pirate haven to target. Daytime History & Ghost Tour: Duels, unrequited love, wars, and natural disasters have left us with more than our fair share of specters! Many of them roam the quiet streets in the city’s most picturesque neighborhoods, and that’s exactly where this tour goes. Evening Pirate & Ghost Tour: Pirate history highlights along with ghost and Gullah legends. Children’s Treasure Hunt Tours: An interactive tour that lets the kids have fun while learning, and adults have a great time, too! Lots of free souvenirs for the kids. THis was a great alt-history of the antebellum south's crown jewel...Charleston through the lense of the pirate! I loved it. It was a bit date laden for my 10 year old at times. I learned things that I had never heard on prior Charleston tours!

I'm glad that your grandchildren enjoyed the tour. Sorry that you felt the $12 adult fee was too high. As you can see from other reviews, adults also enjoy the history that we share on the tour. I even invite the adults to ask me...More

Very informative, lots and lots of Pirate History. Capt. Bob is very knowledgeable. Capt Bob would correct me for using the Pirate "Arrrr" in my title, but you will have to take the tour to find out why.
