We went there in the early morning (on a Friday) after we left our cruise. The sunrise over the park was simply beautiful. Lots of people running through the park. The sidewalks, streets and homes near it as charming. We parked at a meter with no trouble nearby. The pineapple fountain is in this park as well as a view... More

We were staying at the Harbor View Inn right across from the park. Great place to walk and sit with a relaxing cup of coffee and/or a book. Shaded and quiet with wonderful views.

This is where the fountains are. Great place to hang out with lots of benches. At least an area you must walk through even if you don't stay there awhile

Musicians set up here in summer and swings by the ocean are a treat. It's a breath of fresh air in the city.

Adored swinging near the harbor; it was such and amazing, peaceful setting for a stroll. The views of Fort Sumter are wonderful.

We took a long way along the waterfront and enjoyed Riley Waterfront Park. The swings were cool and the view was amazing. This is an absolute must visit while in Charleston.

Wonderful place to walk then to enjoy refreshments. Charleston has done a wonderful job making their waterfront accessible to walkers and visitors. Several rooftop bars are in the area as well.

We recently moved to Summerville and this was one of the things that kept coming up to do. It is a beautiful park with a lot history (not only because of where you are standing) on display. It is on an old Navy base and this park honors the people who served there. The memorial part is quite moving. The... More
