We went on a tour of the entire city with Rhetta Mendelsohn, a licensed tour guide. We did not enter the College but drove and walked around the area. Rhetta concentrated on the architecture and history of the college.

This is an urban campus, with buildings of several centuries, criss-crossed by streets. Some areas provide an oasis from the city. A tour via the Admissions Office would give you information about the campus and college.

What a great little gem of a school in the heart of a beautiful city. If I only knew of this place back in the day when I was graduating HS! The nightlife, the cute girls..., HA - I may not have graduated college.

Every time we bring our daughter back to school at the College of Charleston, we fall in love with the lovely city a little more. Congrats to CofC being voted the Most Beautiful College Campus in America! It is stunning.
