Really pretty church. We stopped in during the afternoon. There was no mass and actually, there was no one inside. It's an amazingly beautiful church, with gold colored inlays everywhere. The windows are amazing. The outside is impressive but belies what you see when you open the doors. Worth a stop.

We went to the cathedral after a day of sightseeing. Beautiful mass and homily. The cathedral is stunning. I believe they offer tours after the morning masses.

Both the interior and exterior of the church is lovely. Beautiful, bright architecture. Takes hardly any time to visit, and worth stopping by to take a look.

St. John the Baptist Cathedral is truly beautiful! The stained glass windows alone a worth the visit, but the green hue throughout the cathedral make it special. Located in the historic section of Charleston it is worth stopping in.

While visiting Charleston, I made the five minute walk from my hotel in the historic district to this beautiful church for Sunday mass. Walking inside from the red-brickish exterior the bright, white interior just popped with beauty. The pews (stepping up) add to the historic ambiance of the church. Lovely service & lovely, welcoming folks.
