Nevermore is tucked away but well worth the hunt. The selection of books is amazing, the intriguing decor makes you want to step inside and browse, and the owners can tell you just about anything you want to know. Even if you're not looking for a book, stop in for the experience!

We loved this place. One of our teens in the two families found a book she's been looking for forever. Everyone walked out with something new to read. The ambiance is fantastic. Clearly a local business. The collection is a very interesting curated experience and everyone is sure to find something of interest to them.

Interesting shop with new and used books on Craven & Carteret Streets, between the Beaufort History Museum and public library. An Edgar Allen Poe theme, with eclectic artifacts decorating the shelves (tho not for sale). Nice shop to find a good book for yourself or as a gift.
