Limited access road means most visitors must walk through a housing tract to get there, and the property itself was off limits, but we went out for a quick look. Not a lot of character but the setting was rugged and scenic.

We walked the path through the exclusive neighborhood that Taylor Swift’s home is in to the Watch Hill Lighthouse. It is privately owned and not open to the public. It is mostly a large green space in which you are allowed to picnic.

Wonderful lighthouse lookout. Cars not allowed. Have to walk or bike down about 1/2 mile. Open around the year.

Nice walk through lovely neighborhood but when you get to the light house you cannot go up to it or in it.

Revisited twice in two days. Only regret is we had to leave to return home. Mystical, tidy, great place to meditate. Didn't see Taylor S. But that's ok.

Didn't realize that as seniors we could have driven down to the parking lot by the lighthouse so after being fortunate to find street parking we made the trek and it was worth it. To see the summer homes along the way and then the...More

No sign for Lighthouse Road in fact signs say private road, walkers allowed. Senior and handicapped vehicles only, well it is A very narrow often one way lane between the hedges of some very pricy real estate and I am sure they don't want traffic...More

On the last day of our Rhode Island leg of our vacation, my wife and I took a drive out to Watch Hill and walked amongst the mansions leading up to the lighthouse. The lighthouse is off limits but you can’t beat the views!

If you have a fishing license or are a senior citizen, you can drive down the very narrow road (slowly!) to the lighthouse otherwise you will need to walk down. What a beautiful view. A great place to hang out and watch the waves.

In order to get to the lighthouse you have to park in town and walk and once you get there you can't get to the actual lighthouse as it is fenced off. That being said once we were there it was certainly worth the effort....More

It's a residential road that you walk down to get to the lighthouse. You can't drive your car on the road. You would have to park it and then walk to the lighthouse. When we went the lighthouse was closed to the public - not... More
