One of my favorite beach locations In Rhode Island. The view spectacular, enjoy watching the Block Island boat arrival and departure from Gallille. Walking the beach, swimming ,a glorious way to enjoy God’s magnificent creation. Pack or buy a drink or meal. I do appreciate...More

We were lucky enough to have scored two spectacular days at the beginning of October that were in the 80's. The tide was going out and the beach was all ours. By the second day, word got out so there were more people. So beautiful...More

This is a great beach! Nice for beach walks, swimming and sitting on the sand. Newer nice changing facilities. Very busy on some days. Had to wait for parking space.

This is a clean, family-friendly open ocean beach with a sandy, gently sloping shore entry. It's also awesome for boogie boarding. East Matunuck beach is a very relaxing spot at any time of the year, but in the peak summer months, get there when they...More

Very therapeutic to spent time at the beach just to relax with a good book or just enjoy the seacoast view; watch the various boats and ships pass by. Location has ample free parking

We’ve visited many of the beach in South County but East Matunuck is our favorite. It has great waves that are large enough to be fun but don’t knock you over on a typical weather day. Overall a good family atmosphere with reasonable parking fees.

Nice, clean and long sand beach with accomodations such as restrooms, showers and a place to buy refreshments. Lovely waves even though we could not use our water toys (a big freaking whale) in the waves.

What other beach do you know that allows dogs on leash in season all day long? Also allows boogie boards and floaties. If you are willing to walk a bit, you can go to the right and have privacy. Surf is good for boogie boards...More

Pleasantly surprised that this beach was clean and not too overly crowed. We did have to wait in line about 5 mins or so to get into the parking lot as it was full. This was midweek around 2:00 pm which surprised me... but it...More

We are from MA so we pay the out of state rate but with our senior discount it's only $6.00. They offer clean changing rooms and an optional semi warm shower for I think $1.00. It's a nice clean beach but the parking lot... More
