Spectacular place for very calm kayak paddling. Put in at Wilson Park, Flatfish Alley at Long Point. There's both a powerboat launch and a kayak/canoe launch. If you don't carry much in your kayak, you can do the short walk from the road to the...More

Located across Narraganset Bay from Newport, Wickford caters to both power and sail boats. Some town moorings are available and Wickford Yacht Club as a few guest moorings. Two large boatyards have guest slips for power boats. Visit Historic Wickford!

As seen from the Boar's Head greasy spoon. Not a "tourist spot" but local hub that is a bit off beaten track. A nice small town feel without the regular chain store shops and coffee spots. Not sophisticated. Just charming.

This is a fantastic place to learn to kayak. There is a local rental for kayaks. Calm waters, scenic and historic building surround the view anywhere in the harbor. This is a must for outdoor adventurers.

Our third time here and you have to try the great small shops, cafes, and diners! The locals are friendly and the town is dog friendly! Great place!

A nice photo opportunity. Usually peaceful, with even a few ducks quacking by looking for breadcrumbs by the Wickford Village bridge. If you're from out of town, it's cute. We stop every now and again as So. County Residents.

Taking a walk in this quaint village is rather pleasant. One can window shop for all sorts of items. There are a few venues for your eating enjoyment as well.

After enjoying a walk around the shops and a little snack or ice cream, check out the harbor. It is very beautiful and relaxing.
