Stopped by wickford village....great way to spend an afternoon. People are so friendly and the shops are great. Nice restaurants to grab a bite or to just sit by the water. Definitely worth the trip.

We had coffee at the Boar's Head on the deck: venue recommended as nice place to sit with dog, but not the coffee. Ugh! Lots of dress shops, but mostly carrying similar merchandise (colourful summer wear). The star shop there is the knitting shop: absolutely...More

Beautiful little New England harbor village. Doesn't take too much imagination to think it is 200 years ago.

Looking for a quaint location to shop and have lunch? There are great clothing boutiques, jewelry made by craftsmen, RI items to remember your visit by. I only wish there were more stores and more eateries.maybe a special coffee house.

Wickford is a very picturesque harbor village on Narragansett Bay with numerous houses built in the 1800s and some before. A great place to stroll the shops and enjoy an easy day.

Nice intimate village. Enjoyable way to spend several hours. We were there on a blustery winter day. We lingered in the shops and chatted with the proprietors. There is a little something for most folk to enjoy.

I love walking around downtown Wickford. While the shops can be somewhat expensive, it's a beautiful area. Good food and great to walk around on a nice day. Even in during the Christmas season there is a lot going on.
