My friends and I went thinking we could get close to the lighthouse but it is gated off. Nice view but not really worth it to see a gated lighthouse.

Beautiful view of the ocean. Wish the still had gate open to coast guard house so you could walk down to the lighthouse but a nice place to stop and take pics

Breathtaking views! Lovely lighthouse at the Coast Guard Station. Unfortunately the gate is now locked so you can not take up close pics of the lighthouse. Nice place to have a picnic and watch the surfers!

It's right down the road from where I always stay, at the Atlantic House. I love lighthouses and it is right on the way to and from my hotel!

Beautiful location for a wedding. Please be aware that there is no seating. However, you can't beat the scenery!

Even though the website says it's open you are unable to go in. It's behind a fence and you just get to look at it and the beautiful view.

Great place to have a quiet sit and just enjoy the view. You can't get up close to the lighthouse since it's an active lighthouse but the views are worth the short ride from area hotels.

Beautiful spot on a sunny day, powerful and awesome on a stormy one. Lots of history surrounds the location from colonial days through WW2.

I love lighthouses and this one delights as well. I love that I can sit on the grass on a blanket and have a picnic or we're happy just watching surfers. Apparently, the waves attract surf boarding fanatics and on a day, with big waves,...More
