Summertime fun, sun, swimming, surfing or just people watching. Long fall, winter, and spring walks with your puppies, hubby or boyfriend, an absolutely beautiful beach!

Great beach! Fine sand, clean and well organized. Parking can be though and roads (Route 1, 4, etc) can be bad at times.

Great beach but I strongly advise you to arrive early during the peak season. It gets crowded very quickly. Parking is difficult. Beach itself is clean and maintained. You can also walk around the beach and sit on the sea wall. Plenty of food in...More

We love going to Narragansett Town Beach, but we definitely plan our trips carefully to optimize our time. Things to remember: • Cash only to enter; • it gets very crowded so arrive early if crowds bother you; • the sand can get VERY hot,...More

We went to Narragansett Beach twice during our last trip to Rhode Island. The beach is gorgeous and the waves were amazing for our kids to learn how to body surf. The beach was super crowded, but very clean and we'll staffed. We look forward...More

Love putting my feet into the sand here. It's a very clean beach with lifeguards, bathrooms, food available... Waves are here. You can walk a couple of miles on the beach. From Narragansett beach, you can walk past Narragansett's North beach, The Dune"S Club, and...More

Expect to spend $50 for a family of four just to breathe the same air as the elite reisdents of Narragansset. THE GOOD 1. Lots of parking reserved for locals, and it's right at the beach. 2. Not too difficult to find parking for tourists......More

Great BEACH, with awesome views. Have to pay for parking and admission onto the beach. Well worth it. You can either go by the surfers or be close to the concession stand. You could also just hang out by the seawall.

Me and my wife were staying in a hotel at a walking distance from the beach so we walked. I was surprised to be charged $8 per person when they charge $10 for a car. Nonsense. The beach was nice. It has a section for...More

This is not a good beach for the following reasons: (1) if you are not a resident, you cannot park at the lots on the beach side--you have to park across the street (which fills up fast) or at the Elementary School and take a...More

Parking right next to the beach is for residents only between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. There's a small parking lot across the street from the beach for out of towners, but it costs $15.00 per day, and you have to be there... More
