Almost everyone likes Starbucks. I think it is a little pricy. They are quiet and quick with your drinks.

We stopped here on a rainy December day. Again, we found that the locale was closed and the windmill not working! It's a great example and has a nice explanation of how a windmill works.

I recently brought my grandson to see the grist mill and walk around the lovely little paths through the woods. My first grade classroom is also on the site, so it was a fun visit for me, as it is now a historical site!

This is a quiet place that one can just go to and sit and think. However, I have brought my grandchildren there to run and play. It isn't a busy place, so it is a peaceful spot. On some weekends there are activities going on. Check its calendar.

We mostly came so I could get pictures and we could avoid downtown. Nice little nature trail around the grounds.

Spotted this on a map and drove by. Entrance difficult to find and on a very busy highway. This is a small self guided walking tour. Nice grounds, good signage.

Boyd's Grist Windmill is set in Paradise Valley Park, Middletown. The mill was moved there from Portsmouth, RI. There is a sweet trail surrounding the site that looks wheelchair friendly. It was a bit nippy - so the short walk was just right after a meal. The Paradise Valley School Museum and the windmill were closed - wish they had... More

Very tricky to find, and a bit underwhelming once there. Not that the windmill isn't lovely, it's just ...a windmill. Lovely pathways and the three bunnies we spotted made up for the slightly lacklustre detour.

We stopped to see this on our way to the Newport Mansions. It was pretty cool. It wasn't open that day but that was ok. There were signs to read and everything was nice and neat. There was a new gazebo to the left of it and an 1875 one room schoolhouse, Paradise School to the left of that. We... More
