I took this ferry as an alternative to parking in Newport - which can be expensive. There is free parking on side streets in Jamestown near the ferry - just don't park in a 2 hour only spot. A round-trip ferry ride is $24 and...More

We used the ferry to travel to the Newport Folk Festival from Jamestown. I believe the round trip fee was $28 but finding somewhere convenient to park in newport proved to be almost impossible.

A great way to get to Newport. Very scenic and enjoyed the ride. A couple of dock landings were a little rough but understandable due to wind and waves. Captain and crew were pleasant.

Could not comment on the service since we were not able to use this ferry. Be advised. Only operates Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Awesome. Well run and on time. They run frequently so you only have to wait a few minutes. Great prices and friendly service.

This excellent service connects several spots in Newport to Jamestown. It offers a magnificent alternative to fighting traffic and parking, especially for Jamestowners heading to Newport for dinner during summer months.The ferry runs often and punctually.
