This should be a lovely walk along the river, but unfortunately, the Williamsport side of the path sits directly next to I-180, which makes it noisy and unpleasant. The South Williamsport side is nicer, but still feels like being in town rather than in nature.

This riverwalk was only a short walk from the Residence Inn we were staying at. It is a lovely walk.

The Riverwalk is high on a berm above the Susquehanna, with beautiful views of islands and flocks of waterfowl. You have to put up with loud noise from the highway nearby, however, which runs parallel to the north side of the riverwalk.
