This is not someplace I had planned on visit, but while here in the area we did. I was impressed by this bit of sacred ground more than I thought I would be. The Tower of Voices when completed will be a fitting contribution to...More

Spent 3 hours at the Flight 93 site, it truly made one think of how awful things can go against humanity. Memorial layout and displays are very well done. I served in the military 50 years ago, it brought back memories of how we defended...More

Such a beautiful and emotional place to visit and pay your respects to those lost on 9/11. It's all really spread out, so be sure to check the signage as you are driving through the property.

I have wanted to visit this site and did so on our way home from Gettysburg. It’s a haunting memorial to some truly brave people. I have heard the calls and messages before but listening to them at the spot their lives ended is different....More

I always read other people's reviews and I agree with some and disagree with others. I was never there before last weekend, so I don't know what the old fence looked like. I agree that it was a long walk down from the visitor's center...More

I was so moved by the beauty of the Tower of Voices. The Congress are huge and once all installed will be something to hear. The visitor's center was emotional and moving. The are 3 messages you can listen to of passengers on the plane,...More

Worth a couple of hours to see the menorial centre, tower of voices and memorial wall. Lots of hiking or drive to each location. Very busy on Columbus Day weekend. Parking very full, be patient, worth the wait.

We decided to make a little side trip and visit the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The Visitor Center is small but has some very interesting artifacts, stories and other information about this event. There is a quite impressive overlook to the actual crash...More

Not sure what I was expecting to see concerning the actual crash site. They had to dig down 20+ feet to retrieve all the plane and body parts. They then filled it all in. You are kept 150+ yards away from the actual site. The...More

When we were there was no chimes. However on TV my husband saw them ring the chimes at this site. The trip is still something you should see even if the chimes are not ready yet

Flight 93 is a National Memorial, but there is no entrance fee. The phone number is (814) 893-6322. This was a wonderful experience.
