This is the ONLY place for fin art in Central PA

THE most eclectic and intriguing exhibit around. Never a disappointment! On my list of tops, this is #2 behind only the metropolitan.

This is a gem, there are plenty of items to view and the gift shop is a must also...two floors so easy if you need to fill an hour or two...self paced so suit yourself how long you stay...

There was a selection of paintings, earthenware, and modern art. There is a nice gift shop at the entrance/exit, with different price points. There is no cost to enter, and there is a donation box at the entrance. Parking is difficult, but there is a parking deck nearby.

The enormous paws leading to the entrance - are out of this world - it's a PSU treasure like the Lion Shrine - great place to enjoy others talents -

we visited last week during family and friends. They had good collections and very knowledgable staffs. I enjoyed most of their religious painting.... like Louvre in a very miniature scale. 😁👍

Stopped in the museum during our visit with our son yesterday. I'm not big on museums but my husband enjoys them. I must say I was happy we went in. There are many beautiful pieces of art in there. Upstairs is the modern art. They also have a little Shop for you to make some purchases.

I regret that I did not visit the Palmer Museum while a student at PSU. Admission is free, and there are some wonderful exhibits. The space is quiet and inviting. There is a small gift shop as well.

The museum has a good variety of art on display. The staff is friendly and helpful. I was fortunate to see the exhibit "Still Moving: Photographs by Steve McCurry." I would definitely recommend visiting the museum. There is no charge to enter the museum. Donations are accepted.

I have been here before, but this time was a visit to see the Heller prints. The exhibit was well curated. The collection is maturing, and the other exhibits were worthwhile, covering a wide range of styles and periods. Admission is free, and there is an outdoor sculpture garden as well. It is good to know that Penn State is... More
