I enjoy Halloween and anything scary. shocktober fest does a pretty good job with their attractions and actor especially for Berks county! I would certainly recommend to anyone local looking for a thrill

We went at the end of the season, so it was not crowded which meant no lines. It was explained to us by the workers that many of the actors are students, whom had mostly quit and so it wasn't as scary as there was less actors. I didn't find the attractions scary, but maybe if it was busy and prime... More

My 12 year old daughter and I went to Shocktoberfest Friday, October 30, 2015; arrived at 6:15 (ticket booth opens at 4:30 and attractions open at 7:00 pm); we walked right up and purchased tickets(print the coupons off their website-$4.00 off n 1/2 off kids 52 inches or shorter); I recommend the 3 combo attractions bc it's just enough fright... Where do I start on this complete failure at an attempt to be a "Scream Park". After a 2 hour drive and a long wait in line, we were greeted with the SHOCK that is Shocktoberfest. This is not a "Scream Park", no...it was nothing more then 3 scare-less attractions on a parking lot. This "Scream Park" is a prime... More

I just want to say thank you so much for the great experience! First of all the makeup was great, kudos to your makeup people because they rocked it out. Second, I had a blast being a zombie, it was so cool. Where you placed me was perfect! I got to see everyone go through and I was able to... More

This is one of the scariest events for halloween! I recommend you bring a cuddle buddy and hold on tight and scream with fright !! You will be scared and you will laugh and maybe shed a tear but all in the name of fear! Happy Halloween! Ill see you again next year!!

The family decided to take a Saturday trip to Shocktoberfest on a whim. Five of us made the hour-plus trek to the haunted attraction for 2015. This has to be our sixth or seventh year in a row. I expected heavy crowds for a Saturday night, but the place was dead (no pun intended). That was fine with me. I... More

If you don't like people jumping out and scaring you, then this might not be for you! It's fun, although you have to go expecting to wait in lines. Pick your top choices and make sure to get some hot chocolate!

The Shocktoberfest location is *right* down the road from me, and being a connoisseur of all things scary, have spent my fair share of time and money there. I have to admit, though, that the 2014 season left a LOT to be desired. Although they have new attractions, the cost and the wait time do not give the same boo... More
