The zoo has many animals that will interest children of all ages. There is a fun play-centre and a fun little gift shop that sells interesting souvenirs. The one down side is the prices. Even the use of the bathroom requires a token.

First off, this is a nice zoo, cages are clean, park is clean. But...it cost $13 to get in, also any additional things you must pay for separately. For example, do you want to feed the giraffe? $4 per person for 2 pieces of lettuce....More

The zoo is not very large which is perfect for small children. It takes about two hours to make a complete round of the zoo. The premises are clean, the prices are fair and there is some shade and seating. The negative I have is...More

Only zoo within miles so it's worth taking a look. It's big enough to be able to see everything in an hour or two, but not too overwhelming for small legs. The giraffe is the highlight.

We took 83 yr old mom in a wheel chair on the 4th of July....we're pleased to see that admission was only $4.00 for the 4th! Otherwise, it's a hefty price for the small amount of time it takes to get through the entire zoo....More

Aside from the awesome animals for such a small zoo they put on amazing events. Next year don't miss the parrot beach event. They close the park and reopen with special tickets for a margaritaville event. A great jimmy buffet tribute band. Some time with...More

Cute little zoo in the middle of a game preserve. Animals are well taken care of and the zoo is clean. They have a giraffe feeding but the lines are way to long. They have picnic areas and a small playground for the kids. Food...More

I have seen people with all kinds of cameras there at the zoo, taking pictures. I have never seen a sign saying "Do not take pictures" or "No cameras allowed". I'm not exactly sure what you mean by a professional camera. If... More
