They had some very old trains that were part of the museum. We did not ride in any of the trains, but got on the caboose for pictures. In March, mostly everything with the museum were closed and all the stores in this area were closed too, but it was nice to walk around.

This are is a great place to vacation. The Strasburg RR is a wonderful attraction. The steam engine is a throwback to a bygone era. The excursion takes you past the beautiful Amish farms & fields. It is a most relaxing trip. A few times a year the train Thomas makes a visit. They also have evening dinner and mystery... More

The ride on the railroad in one of the original cars took us about 50 minutes and it was worth it! First, you'll learn some fun facts along the way. If you're lucky Ross will be your conductor, as he was ours. He's funny and clearly passionate about the job. My kids ages 12 and 10 had fun and we... More

This was a great ride on a beautiful train. Many possible types of rides, with great equipment and scenery. We always get great friendly service with each visit. Enjoy the Museum across the road!

We have been on this train twice now, our last visit was on the Santa Train. My grandkids loved it, it really put us in the Christmas spirit with the Carolers, Santa and the decorated train.

My husband and I took this tour. The car with the nice soft captains chairs were great! It was cozy and warm and they served snacks if you liked

What a wonderful place to take a ride on an old steam train. Presidential cars, dining cars, passenger cabins. Hear the ghost whistle or get off and go through a corn maze.

Love coming here. Seeing and hearing the Steam locomotive is a reminder of my grandfather., the smell of the hot boiler, the chuff of the pistons, the sight of the smoke puffing, it's awesome, here

We visited this attraction in December, 2015 during the time that they had Christmas activities for the children. It was very nice if you had children with you or with your grandchildren. There were pictures taken with Santa and even Mrs. Claus and a few rides and story time. They had a dinner train in which we bought tickets for... More

We came here by accident. We were looking for an Amish restaurant in the area and drive by here. It was open so we decided to go. We had a good time wandering through the museum amongst the massive trains. Took lots of pictures....Christmas present for my dad of some kind. People with kids would like this place. Across the...
