I always heard about the beautiful landscape of the Lancaster region. The uniforms of the engineers and conductors created a historical ambience, so foreign to many of our youth today. My wife, myself and out 5 little kids (4months- 11years) had an enjoyable trip on an old fashioned train ride. Well worth the money and time, highly recommend some Nostalgia!

Yesterday our travel club had the privilege of going on the trains for an hour ride. What was nice is one of the cars were reserved for our group. Our ride was way too short but all of us enjoyed the scenery looking out and seeing Amish farms. What was great is during the ride we heard lots of informative... More

Nice short ride to Paradise on a train pulled by a steam engine. Plenty of options on class of rides.. Tour of the engine house is available. Eating and gift shops available. Kids would love this place.

My family and I purchased tickets for the first-class lounge car and we were so glad that we did. The train car had upholstered swivel chairs that allowed us to view the countryside with ease. It was a comfortable trip because it was unseasonably warm on the day we did this and the car had air conditioning. In addition, there... More

I do love trains but have to say I wanted a longer ride with more scenery so for the price was slightly disappointed. I know keeping this attraction going must be costly so I get why it costs $20 for a 45 minute ride. It would be an expensive family experience that's for sure. Obviously there were more things to... Enjoyed the old trains. You can climb on many of them. The history is interesting and you get a real feel for older train travel.

Everyone was so nice and polite . Train is clean. Great train ride. Train tickets are a bit pricy Very expensive with the food and automatically added tip on our bill. The kids loved the ride. Even though we couldn't hear the conductor. The food was not what we expected. Pulled pork sandwiches had gristle. Coleslaw was on the sour... More
