We grabbed a brochure from the visitor center and set off to see some covered bridges. Many bridges here -- unique in that designs, trusses, lengths, colors, heights are all different. There are about 12- 14 bridges in the area. Most on back roads so you can get out and walk through them, as well as drive through most of... More

I am an avid hiker and photographer and this is one of my stops when I go to Ralph Stover State park. I stop on my drive up to High Rocks. Very pretty location and with some editing you can even make the signs disappear from photos.

It is always wonderful to experience the history and beauty of Bucks County. The covered bridge tour is a fun way to explore. However, with the covered bridges, there usually isn't a good place to get out and explore and walk around!

I went on a solo bridge tour, mostly to kill time before a wedding, but also because bridges are awesome. This one was wonderful, especially with a little snow sprinkled on top.

There is something about walking through a covered bridge that is soothing . We were driving by from Peddlers village and happened to see the sign to the bridge right of the road . We parked and walked around for awhile and only saw one person . Very relaxing .

It's especially beautiful in the fall. A quiet and tranquil place to visit. It's a very meaningful place to me because my maiden name is Loux .
